ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Authorities say they are confident the body they found in Monroe County, Friday, is that of a missing woman.

Monroe County coroner Alan Gurley confirmed this, after attending the autopsy in Jackson, Saturday morning.

On Friday, a member of a search party discovered Teresa Ewing’s body in the woods off Peacock Alley in Aberdeen.

Ewing is the 25-year-old mother of three who’s been missing since August 25.

Officials told WCBI they have several persons of interest in this case, and they’re still investigating.
