Video: Oktibbeha Co. Drug Raid Lands 20 Suspects in Jail

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. – ( PRESS RELEASE) On 05/15/2014, the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department, in cooperation with surrounding agencies, executed a series of drug related warrants in Oktibbeha County and the City of Starkville, Mississippi. The warrants come as a result of a year-long investigation by the Oktibbeha County Investigations Unit.

ARRESTED:

  • Reshon Beckum, 36, of Starkville, MS on one count Sale of Cocaine
  • Roger Richardson, 24, of Starkville, MS on one count Sale of Cocaine, one count Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute, one count of Possession of a Firearm by a previously convicted felon, and one count Possession of a Stolen Firearm
  • Perry Armstead, 42, of Starkville, MS on two counts Sale of Cocaine
  • Perry Agnew, 37, of Starkville, MS on one count Sale of of Cocaine
  • Zyderrick Horsely, 25, of Starkville, MS on two counts Sale of Cocaine
  • Benjamin Taylor, 36, of Starkville, MS on three counts Sale of Cocaine.
  • Corlissa Hudson, 33, of Starkville, MS on one count Possession of Cocaine
  • Derek Larry, 29, of Starkville, MS on one count Sale of Counterfeit
  • Substance, and one count Possession of Marijuana greater than 30 grams
  • Ladanueal Jordan, 28, of Starkville, MS on one count Possession of Cocaine.
  • Imam Johnson, 31, of Starkville, MS on four counts Sale of Cocaine
  • Lennard Bell, 30, of Starkville, MS on one count Sale of Marijuana less than 30grams
  • Octavious Hill, 33, of Starkville, MS on one count Sale of Cocaine
  • Tyrone Bash, 40, of Starkville, MS on one count Sale of Cocaine
  • Johnny Evans, 49, of Starkville, MS on one count Sale of Cocaine
  • Jermario Thompson, 29, of Starkville MS, on two counts Sale of Cocaine and two counts of Child Endangerment
  • Brandy Duck, 27, of Starkville, MS on two counts Sale of Cocaine
  • John King, 28, of Starkville, MS one one count Possession of Cocaine
  • Sanchez Fair, 28, of Starkville, MS on one count Possession of Marijuana greater than 30 grams

All suspects are being held at the Oktibbeha County Jail pending arraignment and setting of bonds. The Starkville Police Department, Clay County Sheriff’s Department, West Point Police Department, and the

Mississippi Department of Corrections assisted in the investigation. The overall investigation continues and more arrests will be forthcoming.
