Wanted: Inmate ‘walks away’ from Oktibbeha County jail
An Oktibbeha County inmate is on the run after walking away from the jail
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Deputies ask for help finding an inmate who walked away from the Oktibbeha County Jail.
William Strohm, 47 of Memphis was last seen running North on Jackson Street and Martin Luther King Drive.
Strohm was serving a year sentence after being revoked on a burglary charge.
Officers are searching the area on foot and using drones to find him.
Deputies said he was serving on the kitchen crew when he escaped.
Strohm was wearing light-colored pants, a white t-shirt, and a dark-colored coat with an orange interior.
He’s 5’10, around 190 pounds.
