Oktibbeha County Parents Help Kids Get A Leg Up On Kindergarten

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- Several Oktibbeha County parents are helping their youngsters get a leg up on Kindergarten.

Tuesday night was the last session of Parent Academy at the Emerson Family School.

During the session, the children, who are all in Pre-K, went over several subjects including the alphabet, writing, mathematics and reading just to name a few.

The Barksdale Reading Institute in collaboration with the Starkville Oktibbeha Early Learning Collaborative presented this year’s Parent Academy program.
