One Crash on Highway 82 Causes Another

LOWNDES COUNTY,Miss.(WCBI) -A Sunday afternoon crash caused two separate accidents in Lowndes County.

It happened on the Highway 82 bypass in the westbound lane on the Tenn-Tom Bridge.

A trailer tractor crashed into the side of the bridge, causing another accident to follow.

Two cars swerved into each other, after trying to avoid hitting the crashed tractor trailer.

It left one car totaled.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported.
