One Jailed In Wednesday Shooting

MONROE COUNTY (WCBI) – A dispute over children leads to one man being shot in Monroe County.  Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says it all happened just after 8:15 this morning at a home on Chapel Grove Road.

29 year old  Lashenna Jones  of Shannon went to pick up children at the residence but when her boyfriend Rodriguis Williams refused to let them leave she shot him in the shoulder.   Jones fled but was arrested a short time later.  She is charged with Domestic Violence-Aggravated Assault
