VIDEO: One Local School Inducts Three Alumni Into Hall Of Famous Program

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-Starkville High School honored three alumni Tuesday night, inducting them into the school’s Hall of Famous Program.

Starkville Police Chief Frank Nichols along with computer engineer Christine Cuicchi, and Starkville High School play-by-play announcer, Jay Perry were the inductees.

The Starkville foundation for Public Education held a ceremony to welcome the three new inductees.

All three received plaques to honor and recognize the contributions they’ve made throughout the community and in public education.

“Anytime you receive an award or an honor it’s obviously humbling, but for some reason when you receive one such as this from the School District that I was proud to spend 12 years in as a student, for some reason it means even more to me, so it’s an unbelievable honor and I’m really humbled and touched,”said Jay Perry, 2016 HOF inductee.

This marks the 24th year the school has inducted new members.
