One person taken to the hospital after car accident in Oktibbeha County

OKTIBBEHA, Miss. (WCBI)- One person was taken to the hospital after a car crash in Oktibbeha County.

Fire Coordinator Kirk Rosenhan says the single-car wreck happened around 8 am Saturday.

He says the car was heading north on Old Highway 25 when it left the road, hit a large tree, then ended up in a drainage ditch.

Firefighters and EMT’s helped the driver before taking him to OCH Regional Medical Center.

The Oktibbeha County Sheriffs Department, District 5 fire and rescue, and OCH were on scene.
