Oxford PD Arrest Woman for Allegedly Writing Bad Checks

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI)- A Water Valley woman has been charged with uttering forgery.

Oxford investigators say Samantha Albritton and her friend cashed unauthorized checks for over $1,000 that belonged to a business.

Authorities say the woman was not given consent of the holder of the checking account. Albritton’s bond is set at $2,500.
