Oxford Police Arrest Felony Shoplifters

OXFORD, MS (WCBI) – Two Oxford residents are facing felony shoplifting charges after trying to steal T.V.’s from Wal- Mart.  26 year old Tikerya Sims

and 31 year old Michael Moore

were arrested Wednesday.  Police say Moore pushed a TV out the front door without paying but was spotted by store workers.  That’s when he took off on foot . Oxford officers spotted him on Jackson Avenue and chased him to Hathorn Road where he was captured.   While this was going on outside, Sims was still inside and tried to do the same thing but was stopped as she left the store with the TV.  After her arrest, investigators found another stolen TV in her car.
