Oxford Teenager Charged With Burglary

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – An Oxford teenager is arrested in connection with a residential burglary.

Oxford Police arrested 18-year-old Brianna Sims on Tuesday. 

On July 23, the Oxford Police Department got a call about a burglary that occurred in the Cotton Creek subdivision.

The victim reported that several items were missing from the home, but found property belonging to Sims that she had left behind in the home, that officers were also able to link to another juvenile.

After interviewing their suspects, police were able to determine that Sims did break into and enter the home.

She was given a bond of $5,000 dollars.
