Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Lowndes County

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- One man is injured after being hit by a truck according to Lowndes County Deputies.

It happened just before 9 p.m. Friday on Land Road, just off of Highway 373.

Crews on scene say the man was unconscious when they arrived and appeared to have serious injuries.

Right now it’s unclear the extent of his injuries.

Officials say the man is being transported to a Tupelo hospital.
