Plantersville Man Charged With Burglary, Kidnapping

PRENTISS CO., Miss. (WCBI) – A Plantersville man is accused of kicking in a woman’s door and holding her against her will.

25-year-old Marcus Dontae Nichols allegedly found the victim hiding in a closet.

Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar says the woman escaped and was found by deputies running down the road.

Nichols was later found in the area.

He and the victim were once in a relationship.

Nichols remains in jail charged with burglary and kidnapping.

His bond was set at $50,000 thousand.

Several other agencies also have warrants for Nichols.
