Plymouth Road in Columbus back open

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Plymouth road in Columbus opened up again on Saturday.

Work began on the road Friday night after this week’s flooding caused a sinkhole to appear.

Public Information Officer Joe Dillon says a temporary plastic culvert has been installed until the permanent fixture arrives.

Firefighters hand-delivered letters to the residents of Plymouth road informing them of the city’s plans for construction.
