Afternoon Showers & Storms Continue Another Day

TODAY: Today will be another day similar to what we’ve see the last few days. Temperatures will climb near 90 by noon, and eventually into the low 90s. Once we have the daytime heating, showers and storms will briefly pop up before they rain themselves out. If you get caught under there storms, they can cause torrential rainfall and lots of lightning.

TONIGHT: While most of the storms will die by nightfall, there is a chance that a few do linger on into the overnight hours. Otherwise we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 70s.

SATURDAY – MONDAY:  There is a 30-50% chance of  pop-up showers and storms every afternoon, primarily during the heating of the day. Locally heavy downpours are possible along with vivid lightning and gusty breezes.  Highs should range from the upper 80s to lower 90s.

NEXT WEEK: We look to move into a drier pattern by the beginning of next week, which will diminish the chances for these afternoon showers and storms. However, temperatures will continue to be in the low-mid 90s during the day and the mid 70s overnight.
