Update: Police Arrest Two; Searching For Another In Home Invasion

COLUMBUS,  Miss. (WCBI) — Two men have been arrested and third is on the run after a home invasion in Columbus Tuesday night.

It happened at an apartment in the 500 block of 9th Avenue South around 9:20 p.m.

The victims say three black men forced their way into their apartment and fired two shots.

No one was hit.

The two victims were reportedly robbed of cash.

Police say their canine tracked down two of them, and found two handguns nearby.

Officers then arrested 19-year-old Ian Gardner, and 16-year-old Justin Hill last night for armed robbery, and aggravated assault.

Gardner also faces charges in the Pokemon Go robbery last Saturday.

Investigators are still searching for the third suspect.
