Police: Tow Truck Driver Scammed, Man Arrested

Columbus, Mississippi (WCBI) – Columbus police say Mario Harrison, 40, convinced a tow truck driver he owned a 2000 Chevy Impala earlier this month.

The car was towed to B and S Salvage and Harrison was given money for the vehicle.

The only problem was he didn’t own the car that was parked on Third Avenue North.

Harrison is charged with felony taking of a motor vehicle.

Harrison’s bond was set at $5,000.
