Prairie Fun Day
PRAIRIE, Miss. (WCBI) — The 9th annual Prairie Fun Day took place today at the Prairie Community Center.
Residents from around the Prairie Community got to enjoy a number of activities.
There was a health screening that took place to provide health and wellness information, along with blood pressure and sugar tests.
The younger kids also go to enjoy arts and crafts, a balloon toss, jumpers, and a water slide.
Free School Supplies were even handed out as well.
Event Organizer Dorothy Hale-Smith says this event is a way to bring the community together.
“This is an annual event, so it’s really just something to help bring the community together and so we’re just hoping to have a good day and everybody to have fun,” said Hale-Smith.
The event was sponsored by the Rural Community Development Club.
