Prentiss County Drug Busts

Prentiss County, Miss. (WCBI) — Prentiss County deputies have made two drug busts.

Thomas Rogers, 25, was arrested on December 4th for possession of marijuana.

He was also charged with disorderly conduct and felony tampering with physical evidence. Rogers attempted to destroy the substance by chewing it up and attempting to swallow the substance.

Rogers also attempted to run away while in handcuffs. His bond has been set at $5,000 on the felony and $3,000 on the misdemeanor charge.

Deputies also arrested Martha Yvette Ginn, 50, on December 7th for possession of methamphetamine. She is charged with felony possession of controlled substance as well as several other misdemeanor violations.

She was released on $2,500 felony bond and a $1,500 misdemeanor bond.
