Video: Prosecutors Seek Seizure Of Columbus Building

COLUMBUS, MS (WCBI) Federal prosecutors want a Columbus building forfeited to the government as part of a federal fraud case from Missouri.

Stuart Millner of Missouri is facing a ten count federal indictment of bank , wire and mail fraud as part of an elaborate investment scheme that prosecutors say is actually a Ponzi Scheme.  Millner is connected to Columbus because he is one of the principals of the Columbus Business Centre.  That was a plan where he was going to convert the former OmNova site into a business center.   Prosecutors claim he used part of the illegal  funds from his scheme to buy the building so they are seeking to have it forfeited to the government in order to repay some of his victims.
