More Rain Through Rest Of The Week; Strong Storms Saturday.

TODAY: Scattered showers and thunderstorms today, capable of producing more heavy downpours at times. Additional rainfall amounts of 1/4-3/4 inch with locally higher amounts. Highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. Rain will continue overnight with overnight temps in the 50s.

FRIDAY: More showers and storms through the day, with occasional heavy downpours. An additional 1/2-1 inch of rain will be possible, with locally higher amounts. Highs in the upper 60s. Rain chances will continue overnight. Lows in the low to mid 60s.

SATURDAY: Rain likely in the morning across the northern half of the area, but more widespread storms will move in through the afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches the area. Some storms will likely be strong or severe. While this is a complex forecast that may change as we approach Saturday, all modes of severe weather appear possible as of now, including strong straight line winds, hail, and a few tornadoes. High temperatures will climb into the 70s Saturday afternoon, and dip into the 40s Saturday night behind the cold front.

SUN/MON: Mercifully, some drier weather kicks off next week. Partly cloudy skies Sunday and Monday with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Overnight lows in the 30s.

TUE/WED: We’ll re-introduce the chance for a few scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday, but as of now it does not look like a wash-out. Highs in the 60s, with an overnight low Tuesday night in the 40s.
