Rain and Storms Back in the Forecast
TONIGHT: Thanks to our front stalling out over our area, we’ll see temperatures ranging from the middle 30s to the north to the upper 40s to the south. Look for a mostly cloudy sky with winds generally out of the northwest at 5-10 mph. A few isolated showers are possible.
FRIDAY: The front sags south of our area on Friday, leading to afternoon temps ranging from the mid 50s northwest to the mid 60s southeast. An isolated shower or two will be possible Friday. Lows in the 40s and 50s. Better chances for a few showers return by Friday Night.
SAT/SUN: Relatively mild across the area this weekend, with the chance for rain. Scattered showers on Saturday, with more widespread rain Saturday Night into Sunday. A cold front pushes through Sunday, and temperatures drop quickly Sunday afternoon and evening. There is a chance for a few stronger storms late Saturday Night through Sunday late afternoon. Gusty winds, large hail and an isolated tornado remain possible. Lows Sunday drop into the 20s. There could be a flurry or two Sunday evening, but we’re not forecasting any frozen precipitation of any consequence.
MON/TUE/WED: We get a taste of winter as we kick off the first week of March. High temperatures will remain in the 40s under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will drop into the 20s, and perhaps the teens in a few spots.
