Rainy and Warm This Week

While we did have a brief break from the rain on Sunday, we’re expecting more chances for rain and maybe some storms this week as a warm front lifts through the area. Temperatures will remain well above average for this time of year. Some areas could see another 1-3″ of rain by this weekend.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Clouds will increase overnight, but we’ll remain dry. Temperatures will fall to the upper 30s to near 40 by early morning.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy through the day with the chance for some showers later in the day, especially along and south of Highway 82. Highs will be in the mid 60s with light winds.

TUESDAY-WEDNESDAY: Rain chances will increase to around 70% for Tuesday and Wednesday. While this won’t be a steady all-day rain, we think everyone will see at least some rain each day. We could also hear a little bit of thunder, especially early Tuesday morning. Highs will be in the low 70s with morning lows in the 60s.

THURSDAY-FRIDAY: Chances for rain continue through the end of the week with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Again, this won’t be an all-day rain situation, but more off-and-on.

SATURDAY: More chances for showers and storms return to the area with highs in the low 60s. It’s too early to pin down specifics, but we’ll continue to fine-tune the forecast. For now, plan for rain and storms through the day.

SUNDAY: We’ll finally dry out for Sunday as we see a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will be much cooler with morning lows in the 30s and highs only near 50.
