Recycling Christmas Trees

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – There is life after the living room for Christmas trees in the Tupelo area.

The city is once again hosting its annual Tree recycling program where undecorated trees can be disposed of quickly.

Sites are located on Commerce Street near the leaf pile, the east side of Ballard park, Hancock Park, Theron Nichols park and the Dog park on veterans.

The trees will be used for a variety of things such as mulch and to build habitats for fish in city lakes.
