Relentless Humidity In Store

TONIGHT: Skies will clear as we head into the overnight hours but it will remain very humid and uncomfortable. A stray shower or storm may linger into the overnight hours. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s.

MONDAY & TUESDAY: More afternoon rain both days, with the higher chance being on Monday. The humidity will remain in place and highs will be around 90. Not everyone will see rain, but those who do will experience heavy downpours and  some relief from the heat. Overnight lows will remain in the mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY: We look to stay drier with partly cloudy skies both days. Temperatures will once again climb back into the mid 90s. The humidity will persist as well so heat indices will again be over 100 degrees in the peak of the afternoon heating.

NEXT WEEKEND: Come Friday, rain will begin to surge into the area once again as a cold front comes from the plains. This frontal boundary will spark more widespread rain on Saturday and Sunday which will also bring temperatures back below normal, into the mid and upper 80s.
