Reward Offered For Lowndes Escaped Inmate

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A reward is now being offered for the capture of an escaped Lowndes County inmate.

Delvin Moore, 29, escaped from the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center this past Saturday.

Chief Deputy Marc Miley says a $4,000 reward is being offered by the sheriff’s department and U.S. Marshals for information leading to Moore’s capture.

Moore was arrested for armed robbery by Columbus police this past Friday.

Miley says deputies are continuing to investigate how Moore escaped from the jail.
