Rodney Faver takes oath of office

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s a new day in Chancery Court for Mississippi’s 14th District.

Starkville attorney Rodney Faver took the oath of office Friday at the Oktibbeha County Courthouse.

Faver is one of the three new judges in the 14th District. Retiring judge Kenneth Burns administered the oath to Faver.

He was joined by his family and friends for the ceremony.

Faver most recently served as Starkville’s Municipal Judge.

Judge Paula Drungole-Ellis and Judge Joe Studdard have already been sworn into office.

All three chancellors for the district retired this year.
