Roper Recovering From Time Spent Lost In Lee County

TUPELO ( WCBI) –  The Lee County man who went missing for a day and a half is recovering nicely from his ordeal.  An off-duty Lee County deputy located the 79 year old Roper Tuesday night around 6 in a wooded area near the spot he was last seen.

Wednesday morning Sheriff Jim Johnson and other deputies checked in on Roper who was kept overnight in the hospital and say he is in doing great.  Roper went missing around 1:00 PM from a store at the intersection of Beech Springs And Birmingham Ridge Roads.
