Video: School Superintendent’s Assault Case Continued

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The assault case involving Starkville-Oktibbeha Schools superintendent, Dr. Lewis Holloway and his neighbor is delayed again.

Holloway and Roy Couvion were set to appear in Oktibbeha County Justice Court Thursday morning, but the case was continued due to the discovery of possible new evidence in the case.

Holloway was charged with two counts of simple assault on August 10th of last year.

Those charges were filed after an alleged argument with his neighbor.  Deputies say Holloway shot a gun in the air during a disturbance.

Hollway then filed assault charges against Couvion a week later.

No date has been set for the next court appearance.
