Second Motorcycle Death In Clay County

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) — For the second time in less, than 24 hours a motorcyclist has died in Clay County. The latest fatality happened just before midnight on Highway 45 Alternate, just North of West Point. State troopers say 39-year-old Carlos Walker of West Point, was northbound near, the,Oasis Club when he was hit from behind by a van. The driver of that van, 28-year-old James Smith of New Albany, was not injured. The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
