Self Described ‘Debutante Farmer’ To Headline ‘A Novel Affair’ Library Fundraiser

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – An Oxford based chef and author will be the guest at an annual fundraiser for the Lee County Library.

The 4th annual “A Novel Affair” fundraiser will feature Elizabeth Heiskell. She is known as the “debutante farmer” and has a catering company in Oxford.

Heiskell will do a live cooking demonstration during the event, set for March 9th. Organizers say the fundraiser helps the library carry out its mission.

“This event is so important for people to come out, support your library, and have a great time and eat a great dinner,” said Becky Rollins, president of the Friends of the Lee County Library.

Tables are now available for the event.  It will be held at the Summit Center in Tupelo.  For more information, call 662-841-9027 or visit debutantefarmer.com
