Shooting in West Point sends one to the hospital.

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)- An overnight shooting in West Point sends one person to the hospital.

According to The West Point Police Department’s Twitter account, officers responded to a shooting call at around 1:30 am.

The shooting happened at a residence on Little Street.

One person was shot during the incident and taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

The Victim was later discharged.
