Shots Fired At A West Point Gas Station

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – A shooting broke out at a West Point gas station Saturday night.

West Point Police say it happened around 11 p.m. at the Texaco on Highway 45 South.

Assistant Police Chief Kennedy Meaders says no one was injured, but a couple of vehicles were shot up.

Police Chief Avery Cook confirms 22-year old Alonzo Seals was arrested in connection to the shooting.

On the Clay County Sheriff’s Department website it says Seals is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

This is an ongoing investigation and Meaders tells WCBI more information will be available on Monday.
