Showers and Storms Will Bring Even Cooler Weather

TONIGHT: Clouds will start building in tonight and that will keep us warmer overnight. Lows will be in the mid 50s.

SATURDAY: Another beautiful afternoon, perfect for some college football. Highs will be near 80 with a mix of clouds and sunshine. It may feel a bit more like summer as some more gulf moisture looks to move in. Overnight lows will be in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY: As the next cold front looks to move through, we will see some much needed rain. Areas further to the west could see rain as early as Sunday morning, but most of the rain should hold off until Sunday afternoon. Some of these storms may bring substantial rain and some gusty winds, but no widespread severe weather is expected. Highs will vary depending on how early the rain moves in, but most should top out in the upper 70s. Overnight lows will be in the mid 60s.

MONDAY: The rain will likely last through early Monday afternoon. Behind the front, temperatures will be much cooler. Most will top out in the low 70s for Monday.

TUESDAY AND BEYOND: With the front well to our southeast, the sunshine will return and it will feel even more like fall. Temperatures during the day will be in the low 70s and maybe into the 60s by the middle of the week. Overnight lows will drop into the low 40s and some may once again see the upper 30s.
