Sickness Closes School

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County school is closing to disinfect campus after a number of students become sick.

Columbus Christian Academy will be closed Friday, November 3, and Monday, November 6, after nearly 70 students have been out sick.

School officials say those two days will be used to clean the facility with disinfectant.

A flu type illness has been swirling around the school.
