Smithville Man Arrested On Burglary Charges

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A Monroe County man is facing multiple burglary charges after allegedly breaking into a hardware store.

James Milton Cavender, 46, is being charged with two counts of burglary of a commercial building and one count of grand larceny.

The Smithville native is accused of trying to break into Smithville Hardware over the weekend.

Bond for Cavender is set at $10,000.
