SOCSD Board Member Steps Down

STARKVILLE (WCBI) – A new face will be coming to the Starkville-Oktibbeha County school board.

Current member Anne Stricklin has turned in her letter of resignation.  Stricklin is moving to Florida to join her husband Scott Stricklin who is the Athletic Director at the University of Florida.   She has served on the board since September 2015.    Mayor-Elect Lynn Spruill and the Board of Aldermen will select Stricklin’s replacement.
