“Sounds of Summer” Date Moved Again Due To Rain

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Rain puts a damper on a Columbus summertime favorite for the second time this month.

“Sounds of Summer” has been postponed again due to rain in the forecast, which is likely to stick around for a little while thanks to Tropical Storm Cindy.

It was cancelled last week, after rain moved the June 15 date to today, but inclement weather struck again.

The outdoor concert has now been moved to July 20, but the band, SwingShift, will still be the performing artist.

For a full list of “Sounds of Summer” concert dates, you can check out the Columbus Main Street Association’s Facebook page, or visit their website.
