Spring Break Fun In Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Spring Break kicked off today for most schools in our area, and the City of Columbus is helping kids and families find something to do.

If you want to work on your hoops skills, East Columbus and Hunt School Gyms will be open through Friday for students from grades 6 through 12.

The Boys and Girls Club will also be hosting youth programs in the evening.

If you’re looking for something for the entire family, there will be a screening of the movie “Zootopia” Tuesday night at the Soccer Complex. And a Youth Talent show Thursday night at the Columbus High Gym.

Tuesday:

10:00AM – 4:00PM: Open Gym for students Grades 6 – 12 at East Columbus Gym and Hunt Gym.

6:00PM:  Movie Night for all ages – “Zootopia” at the Columbus Soccer Complex (Rain location – Joe Cook Elementary Auditorium) – Free popcorn

Wednesday:

10:00AM – 4:00PM: Open Gym for students Grades 6 – 12 at East Columbus Gym and Hunt Gym.

Thursday:

10:00AM – 4:00PM: Open Gym for students Grades 6 – 12 at East Columbus Gym and Hunt Gym.

6:30 PM:  “Columbus Has Talent” (Youth Talent Show) – Columbus High School Gym – Doors open at 6:00 – Concessions available

Friday:

10:00AM – 4:00PM: Open Gym for students Grades 6 – 12 at East Columbus Gym and Hunt Gym.

Daily:

4:30PM – 6:00PM:  Youth Activities sponsored by Life Church – Boys and Girls Club
