The flags were placed along main street to remind the community of the upcoming International Fiesta Day. It has been a tradition for Mississippi State and the Starkville community since 1991 when Armando and Ruth de la Cruz organized the event. The Fiesta will take place on Saturday from 11AM to 3PM on the Drill Field at Mississippi State University; which will include a parade of flags and national attire along with activities for the whole family to enjoy.
