Starkville Man Arrested for Armed Robbery
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Starkville police have arrested a man who allegedly robbed a business at which he was employed.
According to a press release provided by the Starkville Police Department, police Friday arrested Demarcus Hendrix.
Per the release, Hendrix allegedly entered the business “armed with a semi-automatic pistol” and later fled. He was arrested in the area shortly after the incident.
Further information about the alleged incident, including the name of the business, Hendrix’s age and weapon model was not immediately available.
Hendrix is currently detained in the Oktibbeha County Jail. His initial municipal court appearance has been slated for 2 p.m. Jan. 21.
