Video: Starkville Police Investigate Overnight Robberies

On May 26th during the evening hours, the Starkville Police Department responded to three reported strong-arm robberies. There were no weapons used during the incidents. The robberies were approximately twenty to thirty minutes apart. The incidents occurred at the B-Quick gas station at N. Montgomery Street and Womack Street, the Chevron gas station at Spring Street and Russell Street, and the Dollar General on N. Jackson Street near Garrard Road. The first incident occurred at 6:48 P.M.
The suspect is described as a black male between 15 and 19 years of age, 5’6” to 5’8”, 130 to 145 lbs, light skin, and a medium unkempt afro faded on the sides. At the time of incident, the suspect was wearing a white tank top t-shirt, dark baggy jeans that were sagging showing grey underwear, and dark shoes.
The suspect is believed to be traveling by car but there is no vehicle description at this time.
These incidents are under active investigation.
