State Forestry head jailed for DUI

LEAKE COUNTY (WCBI/WLBT) –  The executive director of the State Forestry Commission is free after his arrest on DUI charges.

Charlie Morgan was  arrested by the Mississippi Highway patrol in Leake County Wednesday morning just before 2:00.   The Forestry Commission spokesman says the agency is aware of the arrest and currently gathering more information.   It’s not clear if Morgan was in a state owned vehicle at the time of his arrest
