State troopers investigating deadly Webster County crash

WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Mantee woman was killed in an early morning crash in Webster County.

The accident happened on Highway 15, north of Maben.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says Draneka Ferguson, 39, of Starkville, was driving north when she collided with a car pulling out of a driveway.

That vehicle was driven by Carol Dendy, 63. She died at the scene.

Ferguson was taken to a Eupora with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
