Stolen Guns Recovered

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A tip leads Monroe County deputies to a Caledonia man with reported stolen guns.

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says 28 year-old Travis Jackson had two stolen pistols on him when he was arrested.

Now, Jackson is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.

Jackson was arrested on Wolfe Road in the Bartahatchie area.

He remains in the Monroe County jail.
