Stolen Lawn Mower Leads To Meth Bust

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Stolen lawn equipment leads to a meth lab bust in Monroe County.

49 year old Gary Stafford and 40 year old Carol Ann Stafford remain in jail.

Tupelo police and Monroe County deputies went to serve a search warrant at the couple’s home Wednesday.

That’s when the meth lab was found in a camper behind their home.

The husband and wife are charged with possession of meth with intent to sell.

A stolen John Deere lawn mower and trailer from Tupelo was also found at the Metts Road home, along with stolen items from Monroe County.
