Storm debris to be picked up in Columbus next week
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Remaining debris from severe weather in February will be removed in Columbus next week.
City spokesman Joe Dillon said residents should move remaining February 23 storm and tornado debris to the road for pickup. The city will be removing debris for free as long as it is at the road.
Columbus Mayor Robert Smith said Looks Great Services will be back in town to remove the debris and help continue with clean-up.
Dillon said all areas in Columbus affected by the tornado and flooding will be on the pickup route and that residents do not have to call to have debris picked up.
