Storm shelter locations

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- With the threat of severe weather in the forecast this weekend, Columbus Lowndes County Emergency Management wants to remind folks of area storm shelters open to the community.

These places have built-in tornado shelters that school or county officials or Emergency Management will open up when storms threaten the area:

New Hope High School, Lowndes County Career Tech Center, and Caledonia Elementary school.
