Students Land NASA Scholarships

PRESS RELEASE

BOONEVILLE, MS  Scholarships provided to area students through the NASA Space Grant administered by the Northeast Mississippi Community College Development Foundation are specific to students interested in careers that require math and science core study.  The objectives are to provide deserving/talented students scholarships and increase the visibility of careers in math and science disciplines.  During the annual scholarship luncheon five Northeast student were presented certificates recognizing them as having earned  this distinguished scholarship.  Pictured is (back row l-r) Eli Henry of Tishomingo, Foundation Board President Nelson Wall of Alcorn County, Northeast president Ricky G. Northeast’s Foundation offers a comprehensive program of giving opportunities and is specifically responsible for gifts to the college involving estate planning, real estate, insurance, endowments, annuities, trusts, pooled income funds or other special donations that require ongoing management or binding agreements. It exists to serve Northeast by providing programs and benefits not fully provided by other sources.
