Sudduth Elem Students Sing the Blues in Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Some Starkville area students in K through second grade have come down with a case of the blues. As a matter of fact, children in Sudduth Elementary teacher Kathy McGill’s class have been down with the blues for the last three weeks in music class. On Friday, Sudduth students and teachers in the gym were instructed on various forms of the blues by local musicians Bob Damm and Jesse Robinson. A bluesy rendition of Summertime was delivered by local vocalist Debbie Myers, and of course the children performed as well.
